A Joy in a Bowl of Cwie Mie at Mie Moker

I'm sure that you guys have your own favorite food, yes? Maybe it's an expensive food,  a simple food, your mother's cooking, or a food that can cheer you up when you feeling down. Or even a favorite food shop? A restaurant, a food court, a small stall, or a "hidden gem" that less people know, name it. For students like me at UIN SATU Tulungagung, as a diehard noodle fan, one of those "hidden gem" is Mie Moker, a small noodle shop that serves up bowls of comforting cwie mie at prices that don’t hurt your wallet. It's located at east of Bravo Supermarket, 100 meters, north side of the road.

What makes it special? It starts with the noodles, springy, light, and perfectly paired with the savory minced chicken topping. I love how the broth taste light, but it's very rich of flavors, making it as a perfect menu to end your day in night. Add in some fresh vegetables and crunchy fried dumpling on the side, and you’ve got a dish that feels both simple and complete. It’s the kind of meal that fits any mood, whether you’re rushing between classes or taking a quiet break after a long day.

And the best part? It’s super, super affordable. With prices starting from only Rp 8,000, you can get a portion of cwie mie or mie ayam. By adding Rp 1,500 to your bills, you can get a piece of boiled dumpling or meatball as a topping (trust me, these two toppings are full of stuffing, not just flour). For spicy food lovers, this stall also sell "Hot Cwie Mie" with level ranging from 1 - 5 starting from Rp 9,000. In a town where student budgets are always tight, that kind of price feels like a blessing.

Between Two Suns On the west side of my village, there is a small forest with a lake in the middle. Right beside the lake, among the trees, stands a large banyan tree with thick, lush leaves.
